HR Consult takes upon the overall process of attracting, shortlisting, selecting and appointing suitable candidates for jobs (either permanent or temporary) within an organization. We undertake research and consider the general organogram and specific role to be filled. Though we will be outsourced by our clients, we make sure that we have a clear understanding of the company so that we are working in the best interest of our clients. In recruiting we are no longer HR Consult alone but we represent our client’s interest fully. The recruitment process includes;
 

Sourcing
Sourcing the use of one or more strategies to attract or identify candidates to fill job vacancies. It may involve internal and/or external recruitment advertising, using appropriate media, such as job portals, local or national newspapers, social media (such as LinkedIn or RiteSite), business media, specialist recruitment media, professional publications, window advertisements, job centers, or in a variety of ways via the internet.

At HR Consult we also consider the option of sourcing from the existing organization on whose behalf we are recruiting. This instils confidence in employees as they will give off their best knowing that there are windows for promotion.

Screening and Selection
This is the process of selecting candidates based on research conducted earlier, criteria and assessment tests. Tests assess Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and other characteristics (KSAO’S) necessary to fill a particular position.
At HR Consult we ensure that candidates are assessed on equal grounds and our recruitment processes meet ethical standards. We also pride ourselves in selecting candidates that fit the prevailing company culture of our clients.
